candidate questions

Perry - went after Hutchison on "consistency" for the bailout votes.

Hutchison explained the first bailout vote - wrong as it may have been. Said Perry asked for the bank bailout - saying he was for it before he was against it.

Perry said that his letter was telling Congress to cut spending and cut taxes.

Medina: GOv Perry was a Democrat before he was a Republican. He's been Governor for 10 years, and upheld Republican party platform ideals. We should not criticize anyone for moving from D to R in TX.

Medina said per capita taxes have increased under Perry.

Hutchison asked Medina (not Perry) if she agees that property taxes have not remained lower after the property tax cut. Is this Hutchison/Medina partnership to go after Perry? Why didn't Hutchison ask the question of Perry?
