I didn’t need cold-weather boots in Iraq

In the case of social welfare spending, some government dollars, in fact, are counter-productive. Most rational people agree on the need for some kind of social safety net, but what we've constructed instead isn't a safety net but a hammock. Government on all levels has been subsidizing indolence for years, and it has only increased.
